Bus stop built in to the local vernacular, using local materials and construction methods (waney edge larch cladding, pantile and Suffolk Red brick plinth). Does anyone know if there’s a thatched bus stop anywhere? This bus stop in Friston, deepest, deepest Suffolk, and fits snugly into the local landscape, sitting pretty in its setting.
It would be a shame to leave it once a bus finally arrives. Mind you, the buses are few and far between nowadays, cuts n’ all… asset transfer anyone?
